EMPOWERING RELEASEES WITH A BRIGHTER FUTURE

Our Mission: To break the rate of homelessness and recidivism by providing recently incarcerated individuals with the resources needed to build and maintain a successful life for themselves and their families.

Transforming Transitional Housing Together

We are thrilled to share the incredible impact of the generous donations made by our Memphis donors, totaling $18,665.00, which have enabled us to make significant renovations to our transitional home. Their support has truly transformed our facility, creating a more comfortable and welcoming environment for our clients to call home.

Numerous renovations were undertaken, including the installation of new flooring and the application of fresh paint to both the interior and exterior. We also purchased new furniture and bedding, installed a new stove in the kitchen, and repaired the air conditioning system. Additionally, a comprehensive deep cleaning was performed, security alarms were installed, and a new garage door was put in place.

OUR PROGRAMS

  • Second Chance Mentoring

Our mentoring can journey can begin as early as 12-18 months before an inmate's release. During this crucial period, we match our participants with a mentor who has also experienced the challenges of the criminal justice system. This shared experience allows for a deeper level of understanding and empathy between the mentor and the inmate. Together, they work towards setting goals, developing life skills, and preparing for a successful reintegration into society.

  • Wellness Program

Our Wellness Program provides our clients with access to essential healthcare services and virtual mental health support. It's designed to help them navigate the challenges of adapting to the new world after release. We want to ensure that they have the resources and support they need to successfully transition and thrive throughout thier new journey.

  • Workforce Development

We recognize the importance of stable employment for successful reintegration into society. Through this program, participants receive comprehensive job readiness training, personalized assistance in resume building and job searching, meticulous interview preparation, and access to our extensive job placement services.

  • Housing Program

Stable and affordable housing is a crucial foundation for successful reintegration. Through this program, we provide safe and affordable housing options, along with supportive services to help individuals secure and maintain permanent housing. These services may include rental assistance, housing counseling, and connections to community resources.
